January Monthly Art Show Winners:
The January 2016 Artist of the Month is Pat Ballard, with her watercolor “Tranquility”
Honorable Mention went to Maxine Tatreau with her watercolor “Dream Stream!”
Mini Challenge winner was Alec Hall with his pastel "Morning Light"
February Monthly Art Show Winners:
Ellen Gennaro’s watercolor, “Good Sign”, was awarded first place in the Art League’s monthly exhibit. Honorable mention went to Tina Duncan for her oil painting, “Sunburst #2”
March Monthly Art Show Winners:
John Anderson’s watercolor, “Crystal Clear”, was awarded first place in the Art League’s monthly member exhibit. Honorable mention went to Gladys Shelton for her acrylic painting, “Rusty Old Car”.
April Monthly Art Show Winners:
Diane Jacqmin won first place in Viewers Choice for "Sunset Over Paicines Ranch" and Gladys Shelton was awarded honorable mention for "Land of the Penguins"
May Monthly Art Show Winners:
Best of Show - Floral Member's Challenge Al Junek's pastel painting "Framed In Wisteria"
Viewer's Choice First Place, "A Little Bit of Heaven" oil painting by Connie Poulnot
Viewer's Choice Honorable Mention, Annie Kramer's acrylic painting"View From My Kitchen"
June Monthly Art Show Winners:
Jeff Mangum was the winner in Viewers Choice with his oil painting of "Carl Sandburg's Pond."
Cynthia Moser won honorable mention with her watercolor of "After the Harvest".
July Monthly Art Show Winners:
First place winner was Kathy Amspacher for her pastel "River Calm".
Alice Johannsen won honorable mention for watercolor of "Hooker's Falls Creek".
August Monthly Art Show Winners:
Member Challenge winner for works beginning with the letter "M": Alec Hall with his pastel of "Handsome Hoodie (Merganser)'
First place winner for viewer's choice was Cathy Blair's work of "Autumn"
Honorable mention went to Kathy Gagnon for her watercolor titled "Our Town"
September Monthly Art Show Winners:
First place winner for viewer's choice was a mixed media work by A. Johannsen, "Rushing Water"
Robert R. Frank won honorable mention for his Pastel of "Down & Out"
October Monthly Art Show Winners:
